Hailing from Gidarbaha, Punjab, Advocate Jasavar Singh emigrates to Vancouver, Canada, to live with his friend, Advocate Baldev Raj Khanna, along with a Punjabi-speaking loner from Kenya, Vemsky. The later and Jasavar are unable to work steadily and finally open ‘Only Samosas’ business. Jasavar then meets with lovely Simran and both fall in love with each other. Then his life is shattered when he gets involved in an accident by a vehicle driven by Simran’s wealthy guardian, Jagpal Bir Singh. Baldev finds out that Jagpal was driving without a valid driver’s license, and decides to sue him. It is during the very first Court hearing that Simran will find out that her guardian maybe involved in a conspiracy to kill Jasavar.
