Written by Habib Faisal, the film explores the complexities of a past relationship rekindled amidst chaos, making it a captivating narrative of emotions, regret, and rediscovery.

Plot Summary:

The story revolves around the intense and complicated relationship between Akshay (Emraan Hashmi) and Sanjana (Soha Ali Khan), who were lovers but parted ways under ambiguous circumstances. The narrative is interspersed with flashbacks showcasing their love story's highs and lows, letting the audience delve into their past feelings and misunderstandings.

The present-day timeline is set during the infamous 2005 Mumbai floods, which wreak havoc and bring the city to a standstill. Akshay and Sanjana find themselves trapped together in an office building surrounded by rising floodwaters. Initially filled with resentment and bitterness, their forced proximity compels them to confront unresolved emotions and the wounds of their broken relationship. As they navigate the challenges posed by the calamity, their shared memories resurface, leading to moments of vulnerability, reconciliation, and rediscovery of their love.

This intertwining of a natural disaster with a personal journey creates a powerful metaphor, highlighting how moments of crisis can also be moments of clarity and transformation. The film effectively uses the flood as more than just a backdrop; it mirrors the turbulence in their relationship and the possibility of a fresh start.
