Rajbir is sentenced to a year in jail for Assault while his friends, Sexy, Ambani and Doctor, are not charged. After his discharge he reports to their boss, Fauji, an ex-army officer, who, at one time was a bank security guard, was unsuccessful in looting it, ended up as a gangster, and now wants to be an MLA. Fauji is then hired by the personal assistant, Rawat, of the Chief Minister, Jaya Gulati, to disrupt the non-violent agitation led by Malik against the government’s Land Acquisition legislation – that empowers it to acquire land at very low compensation from farmers and allot it to powerful and influential industrialists like Aggarwal – who has paid her a huge bribe. Rajbir and his crew find out that the village is their hometown and decide to support the activists. They are turned down as the group does not want their demands tarnished by involvement of ex-convicts/goons. They then decide to play a dangerous double-game, abduct Jaya’s son, Hitu, and decide to hold him until such time the government changes it’s stand. Hoping to help the activists, as well as acquire substantial money for themselves, they will not be prepared for life-threatening consequences after Hitu escapes.

Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande is a compelling Hindi action-comedy-drama film released in 2011, directed and written by Puneet Sira. This film skillfully blends elements of humor, emotion, and social commentary, crafting a narrative that engages audiences not only through its entertaining storyline but also by addressing relevant social themes.

The movie revolves around the lives of two young men struggling to make ends meet. The title itself, which translates to "Right Job, Wrong Guys," encapsulates the central conflict — the protagonists find themselves involved in activities that blur the lines between right and wrong, motivated by their circumstances rather than malice. The film treaded the journey of these characters as they navigate through challenges, confront moral dilemmas, and attempt to redefine their paths.

At the heart of the movie are performances by seasoned actors such as Anupam Kher and Sharat Saxena, who bring depth and nuance to their respective roles. Anupam Kher, known for his versatility in Indian cinema, delivers a compelling performance that anchors the narrative, while Sharat Saxena adds his characteristic intensity, contributing significantly to the film's dramatic tension.

The directorial vision of Puneet Sira shines through the film's engaging storytelling and its balance of drama and light-hearted moments. As both the director and writer, Sira crafts a screenplay that not only entertains but also prompts viewers to think critically about societal norms and the often ambiguous nature of morality in the pursuit of survival.

In terms of style and genre, the movie excels at mixing action-packed sequences with comedic relief, making it accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. The drama elements are carefully interwoven, providing emotional weight to the characters' journey and ensuring the story resonates on a personal level.

Since Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande is a Bollywood film, it naturally includes musical elements; however, the film focuses more on storytelling and character development rather than a musical extravaganza. The songs complement the narrative without overshadowing the dramatic stakes, featuring tracks that blend well with the mood of the film. While the songs are not the central highlight of the movie, they support the emotional undertone and contribute to the cinematic experience.

This movie stands out as a thoughtful and entertaining piece in Bollywood's 2011 cinematic lineup. It appeals to viewers looking for something that combines action, comedy, and drama, packaged with strong performances and insightful writing. Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande successfully portrays the complexity of human choices, making it a memorable film for those who appreciate movies with substance and heart.
