Thematic Elements and Cinematic Style
In the mid-90s Bollywood landscape, "Gunehgar" stands out for its unflinching portrayal of crime and its impact on common people. It reflects the darker undertones of society and the brutal realities that many face. The film employs action sequences typical of the era, yet backs them with an emotional storyline, giving the film a strong dramatic core. The cinematography and background score accentuate the intense mood, enhancing the narrative’s grip audience experience.
Music and Songs
Unlike many Bollywood films of the time where songs play a pivotal role in storytelling, "Gunehgar" leans more towards narrative-driven cinema with the action taking precedence.
