Karachi-based widower Khan Bahadur Wajad Khan, displeased with his only son, Nasir’s, antics, asks him to get married to one of two sisters, Dolly and Seema. Nasir, in the company of his friend, Sahir, travels there, and asks the latter to impersonate him, while, he himself, introduces himself as Sahir. Once there, Sahir falls for Dolly, while Nasir falls for the sisters’ cousin, Najma Choudhry, who is treated like a maidservant. Their impersonation is discovered by Wajad Khan, who, at first objects, but subsequently gives his approval. But they will be in for nothing but shocks and surprises when Dolly and Seema’s mother reveals that Najma is the unwed mother of a male child.
